The Pet Parent’s Guilt Relief Toolkit
$12.00
A gentle companion for pet parents struggling with guilt after pet loss.
Are you carrying guilt after losing your pet?
Perhaps you’ve found yourself thinking:
“I should have done more”
“I should have known”
“I missed something”
“I let my pet down”
“If only I’d acted sooner”
“If only I’d done things differently”
Or maybe you’ve found yourself replaying moments over and over again, searching for answers and blaming yourself for what happened.
If so, you’re not alone.
One of the most common things I see in grieving pet parents is the fear that they somehow failed the pet they loved so deeply.
If this feels familiar, I want you to know you’re not alone
Many grieving pet parents spend an enormous amount of energy trying to work out whether they could have changed what happened. I know this all too well…
They revisit memories.
Re-examine decisions.
Question themselves over and over again.
Wondering whether they missed a sign.
Whether they should have noticed something sooner.
Whether they should have spent more time together.
Whether they should have been there.
Whether they should have taken them to the vet earlier.
Whether they should have sought another opinion.
Whether they should have tried one more treatment.
Whether they acted too soon.
Whether they acted too late.
Whether they appreciated them enough while they were here.
Whether they said goodbye the way they wanted to.
Whether they somehow let their beloved companion down.
Amongst countless other questions, doubts and what-ifs that grieving pet parents carry after loss.
I created this toolkit because I’ve been there too
After losing my beloved cat Charlie very suddenly, I spent months questioning myself.
Replaying moments.
Searching for answers.
Wondering if there was something I could have done differently.
I know how exhausting it is when your mind keeps returning to the same punishing questions.
I know how lonely it feels when nobody seems to understand the weight you’re carrying.
This toolkit was created to offer support as though you have a friend sitting beside you through your guilt.
A place to put some of those painful thoughts into words.
To look at them more closely.
To explore the expectations you’re placing on yourself.
And to gently loosen the grip guilt can have after loss.
By helping you untangle some of the guilt that may have become wrapped around your loss, and gently explore the story you’ve been telling yourself about what happened.
Inside The Toolkit
Welcome Audio
A personal message from me sharing my own experience with guilt after pet loss and why I created this resource.
The Question Beneath The Guilt
A guided reflection designed to help you gently explore what may be sitting underneath the guilt you’re carrying.
The Impossible Standard
A powerful, yet gentle exercise that helps you identify the expectations you’re placing on yourself and consider whether you’re expecting yourself to have known or done more than any loving pet parent reasonably could have at the time.
Many grieving pet parents expect themselves to have known things they couldn’t have known.
Seen things they couldn’t have seen.
Prevented things that were never fully within their control.
This exercise helps bring those expectations into the light.
Guided Reflection Exercises
Thoughtful prompts designed to help you put words around some of the thoughts, questions and feelings you’ve been carrying.

If you’re carrying guilt right now, I want you to know something.
The fact that you’re questioning yourself so deeply isn’t proof that you failed your pet.
If anything, it speaks to how deeply you loved and cared for them.
