Private Initiation journey – Frequently Asked Questions

How are sessions conducted?
All sessions are held privately via Zoom. If you do not have Zoom, it is free to download. You’ll receive a link ahead of each session, so everything is simple and easy to access.

Where are you based, and what time zone do you work in?
I’m based in Melbourne, Australia (AEST/AEDT). Session times are arranged in a way that works for both of us, so there’s space to find something that feels manageable on both sides.

How are sessions scheduled?
We’ll organise your sessions together once you’re accepted, based on what works for both of us. Sessions are held consistently throughout the journey on a weekly basis, as this supports the depth and continuity of the work.

If you need to reschedule a session, I ask for at least 48 hours notice so the space can be held respectfully on both sides. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or a session is missed without notice, that session is considered used and won’t be rescheduled.

If something unexpected or urgent comes up, we can approach that with understanding and work it through together. This isn’t about rigidity — it’s about maintaining the integrity of the container and the time we’ve both committed to.

How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
The journey unfolds over 12 weeks.

– Opening session: 2–2.5 hours
– Ongoing sessions: 60–90 minutes
– Frequency: weekly

This structure is there to support the process, while still allowing the work to unfold in a way that feels natural and grounded.

Do I need to prepare anything before sessions?
No preparation is required. You’re not expected to come with answers or clarity. You simply come as you are, and we work from there.

Will I receive guidance during this process?
Yes. You’ll be supported directly throughout the journey. At the same time, this space encourages you to stay connected to your own experience and self-awareness, rather than relying on constant direction.

What level of access do I have to you during the journey?
You’re supported directly within this container, with clear and held boundaries around how that support is offered.

This is a structured and contained space, rather than something open-ended or on-demand, so the depth of the work can be protected.

Between sessions, you’re welcome to reach out via email if something feels important to share or clarify, or if you need support. I’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe. At the same time, this isn’t a space for continuous back-and-forth, so the work can stay grounded in your own process while still knowing support is there when it’s needed.

Is this like therapy or traditional grief support?
No. This isn’t therapy, and it’s not traditional grief support. It’s not focused on coping strategies or working through grief in a structured way.

This is a more direct, one-to-one space where you’re supported in meeting what’s changed in you, and understanding it at a deeper level. There is guidance and presence throughout, but this isn’t about being led or fixed. It’s about being met, and learning to stay with what’s already unfolding.

What if I’m still experiencing grief?
Grief can definitely still be present within this space. What matters is that things have stabilised enough for you to be able to sit with yourself and explore what’s shifted beneath it.

If you’re in acute, overwhelming grief, this may not be the right space yet. There are other forms of support that may meet you more appropriately where you are right now. You may wish to view the Services section of our website.

Will this be emotionally intense?
At times, this work can bring you into deeper contact with what you’re experiencing. Nothing is forced here. We move at a pace that feels grounded and manageable, so you’re able to stay with what’s unfolding without feeling overwhelmed. You’re supported throughout — not pushed beyond what you’re able to hold.

What if I don’t fully understand what’s happening to me yet?
You don’t need to have the words for it. Part of this work is making sense of what you’re experiencing in a way that feels real and grounded, rather than forced or overly intellectualised.

Often, having another perspective allows things to become clearer — especially around things we can’t fully see ourselves.

Will this give me direction or answers about what to do next?
This isn’t about being given answers or direction. It’s about understanding what’s already shifting within you, so that what comes next feels clearer and more grounded, rather than something you’re trying to force.

At times, that clarity can naturally lead to a sense of direction, but it comes from being more connected to what’s true for you — not from being told what to do.

What are the expectations within this space?
This is a respectful, grounded, and held space. I ask that you come into this process with openness, honesty, and respect — both for yourself and for the space we’re working within.

Disrespectful, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour is not tolerated within this container. If this kind of behaviour occurs, I reserve the right to end the journey. In that case, the container will be closed and payments will not be refunded.

This helps ensure the space remains safe, clear, and supportive for both of us.

How does payment work?
Full payment is required before the journey begins. This allows the space to be held clearly and intentionally from the start.

Payment options are available at checkout, including: pay in full, Afterpay, Klarna, and Zip Pay (if you require a longer payment plan option).

What is the investment?
$2,388 AUD. This is for the full private journey.

Is this refundable?
Due to the nature of this work and the limited number of spaces available, payments are non-refundable once the journey has begun. This helps ensure the container is held with full commitment on both sides.

Is there a discovery call before applying?
If you feel you’d like to connect first, I offer a 30-minute 1:1 Zoom call. This is simply a space to feel into whether this work is the right fit for you. There’s no pressure or obligation to move forward.

What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
That’s okay. This space isn’t for everyone — and it’s not meant to be. If something in you recognises yourself in this, that’s usually enough. If not, there’s no need to force it.

How do I know if this is right for me?
You don’t need to have everything figured out. But if you’ve read through the page and something in you quietly knows, that’s usually the signal.

If you’re unsure and would prefer to connect first, you’re welcome to book a 30-minute 1:1 Zoom call to feel into whether this is right for you.

How often is this available?
I only open a small number of spaces for this across the year. When it’s available, it’s intentional.

What happens after I apply?
I’ll take the time to personally review your application. If it feels like a clear and aligned fit, I’ll be in touch with the next steps. If not, I’ll let you know, and may guide you toward something that better supports where you are right now.

What if I’m accepted but unsure about moving forward?
You’ll have the opportunity to review the details and feel into whether this is right for you before confirming your place. It’s normal for hesitation or doubt to surface when considering something at this level. That doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t right — often, it’s part of what’s coming up to be worked through.

What matters is that your decision comes from a clear place, rather than reacting to fear or uncertainty.

How should I approach the application?
Take your time with your responses and share as openly as you can. You don’t need to have everything perfectly worded or fully figured out.

The more clearly you’re able to express where you are and what’s been shifting for you, the easier it is for me to understand whether this space is the right fit — and how best to support you within it if you’re accepted.

There’s no need to rush this.
